Laurie's Story

Laurie discovered yoga in 2015 and immediately fell in love with the way it created a sense of connection she had never experienced before. More than a physical practice, yoga became a gateway to understanding the relationship between the body, mind, and spirit, inspiring a lifelong passion for health and wellness.
Laurie's approach to every class—whether it's yoga, pilates, sculpt, mobility or strength training—begins by helping students become grounded and present. She believes movement is most powerful when it becomes a moving meditation: an opportunity to release physical and emotional tension, reconnect with yourself, and leave feeling stronger, lighter, and more energized than when you arrived.
As both a Yoga Alliance RYT 200 instructor and NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Laurie blends mindful movement with the science of functional fitness. Her classes are thoughtfully designed to develop strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, stability, and power while improving movement patterns that support everyday life. Her goal is not only to help students become stronger and more confident, but also to create a foundation for long-term health, injury prevention, and overall well-being.
Laurie is a Reiki-certified energy healer and believes true wellness comes from nurturing the whole person. Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or have an established practice, her hope is that you'll leave every class feeling empowered, balanced, and deeply connected to yourself.
