Vanessa's Story

Vanessa has been teaching yoga and fitness classes for 10 years. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and 20-hour Yoga Anatomy training at the Chicago School of Yoga, and holds additional certifications through NASM and ACE, including Health Coach and Senior Fitness Specialist.

Vanessa brings a thoughtful, functional approach to movement that supports strength, mobility, and longevity, while fostering a welcoming environment for all students. Her yoga journey began while recovering from a running injury, where she discovered the practice’s ability to not only strengthen the body, but also calm the mind and support emotional well-being. That experience continues to shape the way she teaches today.

Her classes blend creative, intentional flows with elements of strength, balance, and mindful awareness. She encourages students to move with curiosity, listen inward, and honor what feels right for their bodies. She creates an inclusive space where each student can feel empowered, balanced, and renewed.
